Come enjoy some of the best speckle trout and red fishing in south Louisiana with Captain Doug Blanchard of Star Charters. In addition to fishing, you could possibly see abundant south Louisiana wildlife including brown Pelicans, Egrets, alligators and porpoise's.

We'll be fishing the coastal areas of Louisiana south of Houma. This area includes bays, lakes, marsh and open waters.  A 22 foot Nautic Star Bay boat powered by a 225 HP Mercury outboard motor will make your trip an enjoyable one.

Capt. Doug Blanchard grew up in south Louisiana and has been an avid fisherman for over 35 years. After completing the U.S. Coast Guard certification training, he was licensed and insured to fish the waters of Louisiana.  License # 2782015.
